**PLEASE SEE UPDATES ON THIS POST FOR MOST CURRENT INFORMATION ON NATE**
Hi, I’m Chandra Christensen; sister of Nathan Christensen.
Nathan, 25 y/o, was hospitalized with COVID Pneumonia on December 27, 2020. He was transferred to the ICU, sedated and placed on a ventilator on January 1, 2021 and is still currently in the ICU on a ventilator at Ogden Regional Medical Center in Ogden, UT. Although his condition is slightly improving, he has a long road to recovery.
Between two Urgent Care visits and hospital stays extending over the new year, he has hit two health insurance deductibles. Outside of medical bills, he still has his regular living expenses that need to be covered, which include caring for his girlfriend and their son. My goal is to assist him with the financial burden that he will wake up to when he is healed. Nate’s estimated portion of hospital bills are $14k.
My mom, Cristine Loll and other brother, Damon J Loll were also diagnosed and hospitalized short term/sent home on oxygen with COVID. They’ve since healed and are doing well.
Being that I live in Texas, I feel helpless not being able to be there for my family. Although they are not asking for help, I want to help ease the stress of bills as much as possible.
I also want to give a gentle reminder that COVID is serious and needs to be taken seriously. It effects everyone different. Decline in health happens so quick and it’s terrifying.
In addition to the 3 family members I’ve mentioned, several other close family members have been diagnosed with COVID but have been fortunate enough to recover from home with the help of steroids. This unfortunate situation was due to a VERY small Christmas gathering with immediate family only and it spread from there.
Please social distance to keep your family safe.
