Hi our sweet little girl Lyla Louise Grace had a difficult birth and while saving her. Hey left arm suffered a brachial plexus injury at first they thought her arm would bounce back like most babies do but Lyla’s turned out to be more severe. She has done physical therapy at home and in the hospital since the day she was born. She travels 3 hours away to see the surgeon specialist to monitor her arm. She will be having a surgery when she is 2 to try and give her back more movement in her arm. Until that time physical therapy is her best option. Along with a sleeping brace that is being custom made. The issue we’re having is traveling is expensive and the medical system is so over whelmed the amount that our specialist says she needs to go see a physical therapist for is way more than what they will give us. So we have to pay out of pocket. I’m not working at the moment due to taking care of Lyla and her needs. We want to give Lyla the best chance to help her gain as much use of her arm as we can. And we are hoping to get any help we can to help Lyla.
