Help My Dad Fight Colon Cancer
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Macaleb, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my father Victor Stephenson. Just two weeks ago, my dad was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. This marks the start of a new and difficult chapter in his life, and we are asking for your help as he faces this head-on.
Victor is one of the strongest people I know. A man who has overcome more than his fair share of health battles. He’s endured multiple surgeries over the years: on his back, both shoulders, both knees (including a knee replacement last year), gallbladder, and now his colon and part of his bladder. It sounds unbelievable, but we don’t call him “Superman” for nothing! Still, even Superman has his Kryptonite.
Over the last six months, we’ve watched his health decline; from significant weight loss and chronic fatigue to other physical struggles that have slowly taken a toll. And yet, through it all, Victor still continues to show up for his family in every way he can. Whether it’s driving across town to help take care of the grandkids, offering advice to his sons, or firing up the grill for a family get-together; no matter how limited he may feel, he really does put himself in everything he does.
As he begins treatments, including ongoing surgeries, chemotherapy, and various medications, the financial burden has become overwhelming for us. Between taking him to his hospital visits, paying for prescriptions, and taking time off of work to help him (as well as additional support needs), the cost is rising quickly.
We are asking for your help to raise $20,000 to cover these medical and caregiving costs and give Victor the peace of mind to focus on healing. These funds will help in paying off medical bills, infusions, and other healthcare treatments he will be receiving. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to that goal. If you are unable to help financially, simply sharing this page can go a long way for us in spreading awareness and support.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with our family. Your kindness, generosity, and encouragement means the world to us. Through Christ, all things are possible!
With hope and gratitude,
Macaleb Stephenson & the Stephenson Family.
