Hello friends, family, and kind supporters,
I recently received the life-changing news that I have been diagnosed with Stage 1A lung cancer. While I am grateful it was caught early, the road ahead is still overwhelming. I will need surgery and recovery time, which means I won’t be able to work for a while.
As many of you know, being out of work makes it extremely hard to keep up with everyday bills—rent, utilities, groceries, and medical costs not covered by insurance. I am doing my best to stay strong and focus on healing, but the financial stress adds a heavy burden.
I’m asking for help during this difficult time so I can concentrate on recovery without the fear of falling behind. Any donation, big or small, will go directly toward living expenses and medical needs while I’m unable to work. Even if you can’t give, sharing this page means the world to me.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, prayers, and support.
With love and gratitude,
Jennifer
Update: After removing over half of my right lung, pathology found cancer cells in the lymph nodes removed with the tumor. It is at a stage II now and I see an oncologist for further treatment on September 17.
