On October 28th, Deedee Henderson -- beloved friend and neighbor to many -- suffered a sudden brain aneurysm and has been in the hospital ever since. She has undergone multiple surgeries and her recovery will be long and difficult. It's not yet clear if she will ever fully recover from the trauma.

Her boyfriend, Gabe Shupe, will be undergoing his own major surgery on November 7th. He will be out of work for a long time and won't be able to care for Dee Dee, at least for awhile.

Deedee is a hardworking mother of 4 and lives in Lagunitas. You may know her from the Papermill Saloon, where she works as a bartender.
