Rosco came into my life 8 years ago. I adopted him from an animal shelter and he was my very first pet. We have moved from Florida to Missouri together, from my parents house to the house I now share with my husband. He has been my best friend and I cannot imagine my life without him.  My husband and I are expecting our first child in September and we hope Rosco will be there to greet him when we come home from the hospital.

Unfortunately, this past week he went to the vet for a lump on his bottom and has been diagnosed with anal sac adenocarcinoma. Our vet is hopeful it hasn’t spread to any lymph nodes yet as an x-ray was clear, but he needs further testing via ultrasound and ultimately surgery to remove the tumor. The estimate for these procedures is $2,000-$2,500 at the local veterinary specialty hospital. Any assistance to help us cover the cost of surgery and keep Rosco happy and healthy would be greatly appreciated!
