Turning tragedy into generosity

Tax deductible
Diane Bonsignore lost her wife of 15 years while she was giving birth to their second child Johnna Marie. The unexpected loss of Dawn O'Keefe should have never, ever happened. Johnna Marie is thriving in the NICU. Her first daughter Claire is only 20 months old and is too young to understand she will never see her fiercely devoted Mom ever again.
Dawn was super intelligent , passionate about all things in life, woke up every morning with a determination to accomplish and boy did she accomplish-nothing was unsolvable with her in your corner.
Above all her many talents she was a KIND human. She was loved by all who met her without question.
Seven months ago we all celebrated when she announced she was pregnant with baby number two, Dawn and Diane were over the moon and we were all so excited for blessing number two to arrive.
A couple of months ago she was diagnosed with a very high risk and dangerous condition called Placenta Previa Acreta. Her care team was quickly established with Columbia Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital with the best of the best. Dawn's case was mild and the risk for Dawn was low as they knew about her condition and were prepared.
On Monday she had a bleed and Diane rushed her to the city where the bleed stopped and everything seemed to have stabilized.
At 1 am on December 21rst Dawn had a second bleed that required an emergency C-section.
Despite all efforts something went horribly wrong and we lost Dawn as she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Johnna Marie.
What was to be a celebration has left us all without words followed by a tremendous sadness that will take a very long time to recover from- if at all.
Although Dawn left Diane a precious gift in Baby Johnna Marie - Diane lost the love of her life and we all lost a beautiful Angel on Earth.
We want to give Diane some piece of mind while she sorts through and processes this awful tragedy.
Healthcare, burial expenses, mortgage, daycare and to start a college fund for the girls. If you are able to help ease some of her financial burdens we would be grateful. Diane needs to focus on her girls while she will raise them without Dawn she will raise them as she knew Dawn wanted.
Dawn I know you will be watching over and protecting your Family from above. Keep the signs coming -we have got the wheel and will do you proud.
Thank you for all of the support and prayers during this very sad time. We appreciate all of you.
Dawn was a Board Member with Town & Country- all donations will go to the Family.
