Last night Sadie fell off the back of my moving truck on the way to a camping trip. She broke her femur. Our two options were to proceed with a complicated surgery or amputation. Sadie is a very active dog. She comes with me everywhere. She runs with me, hikes, swims, and follows me on my mountain bike. Come March she was supposed to hike with me on my Appalachian Trail thru hike journey. I can't imagine the devastation amputatting her leg would have on what her and I stand for when it comes to the outdoors. Sadie means so much to me. Our connection is unmatched. Sadie needs this surgery. Anything helps. Thank you.
