Help Me Give a Young Widow and Her Children a Christmas of Hope

I’m raising £200 to help a young woman who came to the UK from Africa with her husband and small child, full of hope for the future. She dreamed of becoming a teacher and building a safe life for her family.

Shortly after arriving, her husband died.

She gave birth without him, with no family, no support, and no one to turn to. Today, she is living in a hostel, alone, raising two very young children with incredible strength.

Last week, she went to Lidl to buy provisions and small Christmas tree for her son. As she left the shop, her baby strapped to her chest and her little boy holding her hand, she was pushed aside and her shopping was stolen. Staff would not help. The police gave a crime reference number, but nothing more.

This broke her heart.

I want to show her that not everyone in the UK will turn away. This small fund will help her buy food, warm essentials, and a few simple Christmas comforts for her children.

Any donation, no matter how small, will help remind her that she is not alone — and that kindness still exists.
