Financial aid for the Greater North Penn Community

You will never achieve righteousness until you donate some of what you cherish. And whatever you give is certainly well known to God. (Qur'an 3:92)

The COVID -19 crisis has affected all of our lives. 

Some of us, however, have been and will be affected much more than others. With unemployment rates projected to skyrocket, we expect that many in our local community may need additional help keeping the lights on and putting food on the table. 

North Penn Mosque has been supporting our local community members in need for over a decade, and we have already been responding to requests for financial assistance since this crisis struck. We anticipate that we will be receiving even more requests in the coming weeks. 

The money you donate will be used to fulfill requests for financial aid from our local North Penn and surrounding area community members (both Muslim and non-Muslim) who have been affected by this crisis. The money will be used to help pay rent, electric/gas bills, internet/phone bills and other necessary expenditures that community members who apply for assistance may need help paying for. 

In the unlikely case that we raise more than we receive in request in this acute crisis, the money will be directed to the North Penn Mosque Zakat* fund which is distributed to needy families throughout the year.
