As many of you know, Jim survived a stroke earlier this year. He is on the road to recovery and doing a great job, but it is a slow process. I have gladly stepped up to be a nurse, physical therapist, cheerleader, and sole provider. He is trying to get disability, but that is also a slow process.

Try as I might, I am falling behind despite cutting out all luxuries, selling things on Facebook Marketplace, and cutting back any way I can. It is humbling having to ask for assistance, especially this time of year when times are hard for a lot of people.
