National Park FD Roof Project

The National Park Fire Department is a 100% volunteer Department protecting the Boro of National Park.  We are provided with a yearly operating budget from the municipality which covers our equipment/SCBAs/vehicle mainteance etc., however we are responsible for the operating and mainteance of our building and grounds.  We attempt to cover these costs through various fundraisers throughout the year as well as renting our banquet hall almost every weekend.  The problem we are currently facing is the flat roof over our Engine Bays is failing and our numerous attempts to repair it have been unsuccessful.  We are at a point where the roof needs to be completely replaced, however the cost to do this exceeds our available funding and we are unable to raise enough through our fundraisers to cover it.  With the condition of the roof worsening by the day, it is beginning to leak on our equipment, turnout gear and vehicles and needs to be replaced as soon as possible.  With winter and snow coming, every little donation helps us with reaching our goal, saving our building and equipment.  The Officer's and Members of the Department would like to thank everyone in advance for anything they can contribute.
