Hello. My name is Nicholas Peregoy and I am humbly reaching out for financial help with my medical bills as I did last year. Due to the viciousness of my fight with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), I am currently on short term disability again until my doctor deems I am healthy enough to return back to work . With an income of only $100 a week on disability, I am unable to pay my medical expenses, much less my living expenses.
I have been battling RA since 2006, and have worked full-time while still struggling with this debilitating disease. I have also developed Diabetes and Lupus Anti Coagulate Disease due to complications from the RA, along with hormone treatments due to serious imbalances from treatments and health complications.
RA has currently rendered me incapable of standing or walking without assistance. I am also incapable of performing simple tasks such as dressing myself, making my own meals, or other daily tasks without assistance from family and friends. My doctors started me on Rituxan infusions last year and we are hoping for stronger recovery this year. Until that time, I am to remain on disability, which unfortunately impacts me financially. As in the past, I appreciate any assistance that can be provided and humbly thank family and friends.
It is very difficult for me to publicly ask for help, but I have nowhere else to turn. I am fighting to keep a roof over my head at the same time that I am fighting for my health.
