For those of you who do not know me, my name is BJ Ladwig, and I am a student at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. I LOVE HELPING PEOPLE! I believe in the potential of people, I believe in giving, and I believe that everyone has the ability to succeed. My whole life I have had a passion for seeing these successes come to life in a plethora of ways. Unfortunately not everyone is given the same opportunity as one another due to a lack in the number of resources available to them and many other things. I have been privileged enough to have everything that I have ever needed and more because of the amazing people in my life, including each and every one of you. I also have been born into privilege and this has contributed to my path of success. Not everyone has such a strong support group or privilege and I dream of helping those people so that someday they may have they opportunities they always dreamt of.  I want to give help to those in need with my whole heart, and I have finally found the best way for me to do so. Cross Cultural Solutions is an organization that provides volunteering, internships, and many other openings to give back to a local community. This fund is to raise money for me to be able to take part in one of their volunteer missions to go to Lima, Peru and give back to the local community. The money from this fund will cover my plane ticket, my food, my housing, and resources to help the community. The trip I have chosen leaves on May 28th, 2016 and is three weeks long, so these funds will be due closer to the date of departure. This is going to be a dream come true. It would mean the world to not only me, but the people I will encounter. If you could please make a donation to this fund, it will be endlessly appreciated. I look forward to posting photos of the experience for all of you, and to those who have taken the time to read this. I am finally chasing after I dream I have always had and you have shown your support. I just want to say thank you for all of your support, it is incredible.
