Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share the story of our beloved dog, Pepper. On July 3, 2025, Pepper was tragically injured in an accident involving a truck. Since then, she has been in constant pain and struggling to recover.

After several vet visits and ongoing care, we were told the heartbreaking news: Pepper’s paw is so badly injured that her leg now needs to be amputated. If we’re not able to proceed with the surgery by the end of the month, our only remaining option will be to euthanize her to prevent further suffering.

We are devastated. Pepper is not just a pet, she’s a part of our family. She’s the dog who greets us with a wagging tail no matter how hard the day has been, the one who cuddles close when we need comfort, and the best companion we could ever ask for.

The surgery, post-op care, and medications are expensive: far more than we can afford alone. That’s why we’re asking for your help.

We are hoping to raise $6000 to cover the cost of the amputation and help Pepper recover and adjust to life on three legs.
