Now's The Time... to help Rick Lawrence

Hi,

 

My name is Melissa Gordon Rhine. I'm raising funds for Paige Power, the wife of a dear friend and colleague, Rick Lawrence, who recently passed away due to kidney cancer. Rick and I both taught at Gwinnett School of Music for many years. He was an extraordinarily kind, humble, talented and knowledgable man who will be missed by many.

 

Here's the thing about Rick: He's gave a lot to so many. His love of music ran deep and he was generous in sharing his time with joy. I experienced his kindness countless times.

 

Rick was a classically trained, multi-instrumentalist, who taught stringed instruments privately for 16 years. His students ranged from 4 to 80 years old, from hobbyists and beginners to professionals and aspiring professionals. He taught music lessons on guitar, banjo, mandolin, and ukulele, in the styles of Rock, Pop, Blues, Jazz, Country, Fingerstyle and Classical.

 

Please consider sharing a few bucks. All funds donated will go directly to Rick's wife, Paige, to help pay for the medical bills that rapidly accumulated since April, 2022, without the benefit of health insurance.
