Every week since the pandemic started a team of music loving volunteers has gathered to produce Shockoe Sessions Live!, a music show on YouTube. Rosie who is owned by the show's host, Reese Williams, has been there for practically every session. She offers support in the form of love and companionship to the musicians that perform and our wonderful staff. She is THE super dog!
On Valentine's day, we all got the sad news that Rosie has awoken that morning with paralyzed back legs. Recognizing that this was most likely neurological in nature, Reese was advised to her immediately to the specialists at Bush Veterinary Neurology Service. Unfortunately, we were right. Rosie was diagnosed with a herniated disc, and the recommendation was immediate surgery. Rosie did not have veterinary insurance to cover this super expensive bill, and Reese was not prepared for a $10k surprise, but Rosie had to be saved! While she hasn't asked for help, Reese needs it. Our hope with this fund is to cover costs and insure that Rosie gets the care she needs to return to our show.
If you love animals like we do, we're hoping you can help out. Rosie always shows us unconditional love, it's time to love her back!
