Now Paralyzed, need to make my home Functionable

I’m Greg, a loving husband and father who cherished an active lifestyle with my family. Unfortunately, a sudden medical condition drastically changed my life. A major surgery to remove a mass from my spinal cord left me paralyzed from the chest down, ushering in a new reality filled with challenges and adaptations.

I’m currently dedicated to my recovery at a spinal cord rehabilitation center. Despite my efforts, progress has been slower than anticipated, and I long to return home to my beautiful wife and two little angels. However, returning home requires significant modifications to accommodate my new needs:

1. A wheelchair-accessible ramp for easy entry into our home.

2. Widened doorways to allow wheelchair access.

3. A specialized bathroom that caters to my physical abilities.

4. An electric bed for seamless transfers from my wheelchair.

5. A comfortable chair that supports my back, crucial due to the pain I experience.

6. Essential medical supplies for daily self-care, including equipment for catheterization and bowel management.

Additionally, I need a specialized wheelchair, which costs over $5,000, and I am responsible for 25% of this amount.
