It’s not very often that an opportunity like this comes along.

We have the opportunity to acquire a Holocaust uniform that was worn by a female Jewish political prisoner, Saba Goldschmid. What makes this particular uniform so remarkable is that it still bears the yellow triangle, the red political marking, her prisoner number, and her name. Both the history and the documentation surrounding it make this an exceptionally rare artifact.

Our hope is to make this uniform part of the RUTH: Remember Us The Holocaust museum collection, where it can be preserved and shared with thousands of people. We hope our community will once again come together to help us preserve this piece of history.
