Now Hear This - The Duke Pearson Story

"Now Hear This" is a short documentary exploring the life, legacy, and music of jazz pianist Duke Pearson. This film will act as an homage to Duke Pearson, commemorating his history, achievements, and character. "Now Hear This" will be directed and produced by documentary filmmaker and multimedia journalist Katey St John. Spencer Tait, a filmmaker from Wisconsin, will co-produce the film.

Katey St John is a 23-year-old activist and documentary filmmaker living in Brooklyn, New York. She currently produces video content for Insider, an international publication reaching an audience of over 200 million people. Katey's most recent documentary, "Uprooting our Food System," was awarded 'Official Selection' at this year's 307 Film Festival in Wyoming.

Spencer Tait is a 24-year-old producer and director from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has extensive experience working with Milwaukee's PBS studios and currently works as a freelance video producer. Spencer regularly creates short films, music videos, and commercial video content.
