As most of you know, Tim has been in and out of the hospital several times in the past couple of months. Of course, the first thought was it must be Covid, but tests ruled that out. He wasn't getting better. They said his liver was damaged, but they did not know to what extent. His last hospital stay they decided to transfer him to Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. They said his liver was not functioning and he would need a liver transplant. Fortunately, a liver became available and he received his liver transplant on Saturday, February 6th. He is currently in the ICU and will be in the hospital 1-3 weeks. He is not quite out of the woods, as he is currently on dialysis and there is still the possibility of needing a kidney transplant as well.
Tim hasn’t worked since November and will probably not go back for at least six months. Tim has a long recovery ahead of him. The money raised will help with medical expenses, loss of income, and any expenses incurred during recovery.
Tim is simply one of the most selfless people we know. Always willing to help, contribute, and never expecting anything but a thank you in return. It is time for us to return the favor and give Tim our prayers and a helping hand. We will pray for Tim on his road to recovery.
We fully understand the current economic climate has affected many, so if you are not in a position to donate, all we ask is you repost or forward this on. For those unable to donate, your thoughts and prayers are just as appreciated.
