Hi, my name is Lauren to ask for money and help is something I find very difficult. But I would find not have my baby girl Nova more difficult. Today, nova had a very bad breathing episode and we took her to see her vets, from there we were sent to an emergency vets over an hour away Queen Mother Hospital for animals. We have been told her larynx has failed, and she is struggling to breath. She is currently in ICU Intubated She needs emergency surgery, we have insurance up to £6000 but we have had to use some for her thyroid we do not know if they will class this as new and we get the full £6000 but sadly regardless of this the current estimate is £8000 although could reach £10000.

We have had one thing after another to pay for and now we do not have any savings left. We have been told we have to find the difference whatever that amount is but I do not know how anyone plucks that kind of money out of the air to save a loved one.

We got Nova in lockdown after we suddenly lost Mikes mums to metastatic Cancer. The trauma and loss for us all with what we went through was so great that we needed to find a reason to get up, a reason to smile again so we got our beautiful Nova. Since we got her we have suffered more loss and personal problems. Through it all she shines so bright for us all, she has a way with each of us that is different. She just knows what we need. She fills all our hearts with so much love everyday. Without her I do not know what we would do, she is only 5 years old and still has so much love to give.

This really is very difficult for me to ask for but we can’t lose another loved one, we really need help to find the funds to save her.

If you are able to give anything even £1 we would be in your debt forever. We do know things are difficult for so many at the moment, so I totally understand if you can’t but even a share would be amazing.
