Help Us Give Sweet Nova the Life She Deserves
This beautiful female Blue Russian cat now known as Nova was recently rescued by a kind-hearted woman named Julia, who found her in desperate need of medical attention. Without hesitation, Julia stepped in and brought her to the vet to get the care she truly deserves. Today, she was examined and treated—but we need your help to cover the full cost of her medical bills.
She was diagnosed with Feline Herpesvirus (also known as Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis)—a common and highly contagious virus that affects a cat’s upper respiratory system. This condition can cause sneezing, nasal discharge, eye inflammation (conjunctivitis), and general discomfort. While it can’t be cured, symptoms can be managed with proper care, medications, and preventative treatments like vaccines, which also reduce the chances of future flare-ups.
In addition to her diagnosis, the vet also:
• Treated her for an ear infection
• Administered a rabies vaccination
• Ran a full blood panel
• Provided antibiotic ointment for her eye
• Sent her home with ear drops
• Gave her general preventatives
They also believe she may be pregnant, which makes timely medical care even more crucial—for both her and her possible kittens.
Julia, along with one other generous Samaritan who donated today, has already taken on a large portion of the bill—but we can’t do this alone. Every single dollar truly makes a difference. Your donation will directly support her recovery, ongoing care, and future well-being.
This sweet girl didn’t ask to be abandoned or sick—but thanks to kind people like you, she now has a chance at a brighter future.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for stepping up, advocating for the voiceless, and supporting rescue efforts like this. Together, we can make a difference.
