My beautiful dog Nova has been diagnosed with stage four lymphoma. In a matter of two months, the cancer spread from one single node to every node in her entire body. She had lost 20 lbs, stopped eating entirely, became very lethargic and anxious, and the lumps had grown to 8 cm. After her diagnosis, she began some medications (like prednisone) to help alleviate these symptoms, and they have worked wonders. The tumors are now down to 3.4 cm, she's eating and holding down Hills ID wet dog food, and she's starting to get her usual spunk back.

However, these medications are simply a band-aid there to help alleviate symptoms and slow down the process by about a month. She has to start chemotherapy next week, and there's an 80% chance that she will go into remission and get another year or two of life without the cancer being active. She has a good chance to get over this hump and have a great quality of life again before the cancer returns somewhere down the line. The only problem is, chemotherapy is unbelievably expensive. We have received a grant, but it's still a couple thousand short of what we need. Please consider donating to Nova's chemo treatment.
