Nova Needs Our Help for Neurological Care

Hi! My name is Nova. A few months ago, I started to show signs of back leg weakness, struggled with my balance, and sometimes I would get a little hurty after walks. I went to see the vet, and they started me on some meds for what they thought was arthritis. Last week, after a short walk, I started to hurt really bad, and I couldn't move at all. My human rushed me to the vet, where they told me that I might have dislocated my hip and that I was also showing signs of a neurological problem.

An x-ray determined that I did not actually dislocate my hip, so the next step is to try to figure out what is going on in my head and spine.

Since my appointment last week, I've been taking some pain medications, and they are helping, but we still don't really know what's going on. My appointment with a neurologist is next week, and it turns out that neurologists are pretty expensive, especially since they want to take some pictures with a special camera called an MRI.

This is the part where I ask for your help. Right now, no one is really sure what's going on with me. I'm a really healthy dog outside of these recent issues. I love walkies, belly scratches, people, and sunshine. I am a friend to all. I try to always be the best companion and pup I can be. I just really want some answers.
