Nourishing LA: Meals for Evacuees & Heroes

With most restaurants and food services closed due to the fires, a group of chefs from restaurants across LA will be coming together to prepare hot meals for those who have been evacuated or displaced, as well as for the incredible first responders—firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and EMTs—working tirelessly on the frontlines.

We’ll be working in the Arts District in LA during the week and in Redondo Beach over the weekend to prepare and distribute these meals.

While a few purveyors have generously donated provisions, these supplies will eventually run out. To keep this effort going for as long as possible, we’re raising funds, with 100% of the proceeds going directly toward purchasing fresh produce, proteins, and pasta. All expenses will be documented, and the process will be filmed to ensure transparency.

Additionally, we’re seeking volunteers to help with food deliveries once the meals are packed. If you’d like to lend a hand, please let us know, and we’ll coordinate with you.
