My name is Michaela Mae Corbitt and I am a photographer currently living in Los Angeles, CA . In one month, I will leave L.A. behind for a time to hit the road and take refuge in the National Parks and Forests that speckle the map of the United States. I will be taking only what is necessary to document this trip: a couple cameras, some film, paint, ink, my typewriter, and (no doubt) my dog, Whiskey. I have mapped out a route to follow (Map HERE ) and each day, Whiskey and I will travel to the next mark placed on the road.  By journey's end my musings, photos, letters, and art will be compiled into "Not Lost Chronicles," the culminating work of our excursion across land and within soul.

My hope for this GoFundMe page is to not only raise money for this project but to gain participants for it as well.  Anyone who donates any amount towards the "Not Lost Chronicles" will receive a personal letter from me, written from somewhere along the way. I encourage anyone who receives a letter to please write me back! 

Any donation that totals in $20 or more receives a letter and a one of a kind "polaroid" style print made with a Fuji Instax 210. 

Any donation of $75 or more receives a letter, a photo, and a copy of the book when it's released this upcoming Fall.
