NOT IN SERVICE PUBLICATION COSTS & BDAY OFFERING!

Hello! Unique Mical Robinson here, 20+ year poet/performer/professor from Baltimore City. I’ve been waiting for today, my birthday (#1127!!) to share a grand announcement…I’m about to drop my 2nd book, y’all. And this time, I'm reaching further than I ever have before. It’s called (not) in service, and is a poetic commemoration of all the 34 years I spent riding public transportation. Many of the poems I wrote while in transit. I’m publishing with Homie House Press, an international women-owned radical zine collective to bring you a poetry collection paired with photographs, colors, patterns, and textures (that’s unlike any other book you’ve ever read, tbh! It’s that amazing!!).

A little while back, I applied for an artist grant to cover the final publication costs, but I’ve gotten no word on this. The book is literally about to go to the printers now, and I want to ensure I have the full funds for it. Any amount counts!! And *drum roll*, if you donate $25 or more, you’ll automatically receive a copy of the book when it’s released in a month (I’ll put your name on a reserve list!)
