Last night, we lost someone truly extraordinary. My very best friend was taken from this world far too soon in a sudden, devastating tragedy. She was just one month away from turning 50 and was the kind of person who made everyone around her feel seen, safe, and loved.

She was a mom to four amazing kids and a proud, doting grandma to eight. Her life revolved around caring for others—showing up, helping quietly, loving fiercely. The hole she leaves behind is enormous. She died and her husband died in what can only be described now as a senseless tragedy.

Her family is now facing the unimaginable while also trying to cover funeral expenses and immediate needs for both parents. A GoFundMe has been created to help honor her life and support those she loved most.
