Maribel Quinones has been a Nursing Assistant at Stanford Hospital for over 7 years. She started at Stanford on B2, an Intermediate Cardiology Medicine Unit which later became J7. In October 2021, we were deeply saddened to hear she had been diagnosed with Stage IV Gastric Adenocarcinoma. After receiving the news, she started chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Her journey has been challenging and rigorous but nonetheless she continues to fight and is currently in remission but has not been able to return to work.

Maribel has been married to Hector who also works at the Stanford's Arrythmia department. She is the mother of three beautiful boys named Uriel (11), Ulysses (7), and Uziel (3).
