I never thought I would ever have to ask for help, but I’ve reached a point in my life where I can’t manage on my own anymore.

I am 70% d

isabled and mobility impaired. For months I have been living with a painful shoulder fracture that has never properly healed because I cannot afford proper medical treatment without full health insurance.

Despite this, I have to continue doing physically heavy work just to survive.

During my long period of illness, I was able to pay my installments to my health insurance (AOK), but not always on the exact due date.

Because of this, they canceled my installment plan. Now the insurance company is demanding a one-time payment of €10,000 so that I can:

enter the installment plan again

stay fully insured

finally receive medical treatment

avoid being forced into personal bankruptcy

keep my livelihood

My total debt is €21,000, but the AOK requires €10,000 immediately, otherwise I lose everything.

What makes this situation even harder:

My adult son is fighting a bone-cell tumor.

He has small children who need their father. I try to support him and my grandchildren as much as I can, but my own strength — physically and financially — is nearly gone.
