Not Too Sweet: Help Edith's Pie Close Our Shop with Grace
Donation protected
Dear friends, neighbors, and loyal pie lovers,
This is one of the hardest messages we've ever had to write.
After 5 incredible years of serving our community through Edith's Pie, we've come to the painful truth that our time has come. Despite our best efforts, the financial challenges have simply become too heavy to carry.
We are doing everything we can to be here through the holidays to join you for one last Thanksgiving, but without your help now that may not be possible.
We started this shop with a simple dream: to share comfort, create a welcoming space, bring people together, make good jobs, and make damn good pie. And thanks to you, we've done that one slice at a time. Your support, stories, laughter, and love have filled our little shop with more warmth than any oven ever could.
Now, as we prepare for this difficult transition, we're asking for your help one last time—not to keep us open, but to help us land on our feet. This GoFundMe is to raise the funds needed to cover some overwhelming expenses as we try to land the plane, pay off vendors, support our small team, and close this chapter with just a hint of dignity.
If our shop has meant something to you, if we've ever been part of your celebrations, comforted you on hard days, or simply brought a smile to your face—we'd be incredibly grateful for any support you can offer as we say goodbye.
Thank you for being part of our story. Thank you for believing in us. And thank you for loving pie.
With all our love and deepest gratitude,
Mike & Jeff,
Edith's Pie
