Today a cat that is identical to our beloved Taco Cat, got hit by a car. We rushed him to the vet thinking it was our own and paid 900$ towards getting him the care he needed. There is still more to do as he requires an eye to be removed and additional medical attention.

On returning home, we found our Taco home and safe, to our surprise! We called the vet and because this "NOT TACO" is not chipped, and is suffering due to the eye, they will have to put him down if he is not claimed as they can not release an injured cat. The vet said other than the eye, this cat is ok,, Xrays have come back normal and other than slightly elevated liver levels he seems to be ok.

In an effort to avoid this we are willing to take him into our home but unable to financially cover all that needs to be done for a cat that is currently not ours to care for.

If you would like to help us out, and if we can hit this goal to pay for his medical, we will take him in permanently and care for him as part of our family.

The amount paid already is 900 with 400 left plus 700 to remove the eye. Plus medications etc. Thank you if you are able to help and/or share this!
