Hi,
So I'm not sure how much information people would like to know about my lady parts but let's just say it's been a stressful and at times life threatening journey.
I had my first scare back in 2017 when I had a major rupture which caused severe internal bleeding and I was at risk of having my body shut down with in moments.
After emergency surgery was performed I was told my likely good of having children was very slim and if I did fall pregnant I would be at great risk of ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage or still birth.
I recovered gradually but sadly the horrific pains, nausea, anxiety and illness returned a few years later.
Public health refused to help, I waited months and was told during the appointment that excruciating pain causing black outs, vomiting and crippling pain where I'm unable to walk was 'normal'.
I just needed to take the pill and the pain killers they had kindly prescribed me and deal with it.
I was at a loss. I decided to see a specialist who was shocked at my symptoms and I was booked surgery the following month.
I had stage 4 Endometriosis, Andenomysis, cysts and a large tumor removed from my pelvic area.
Adenomyosis, a different form of Endometriosis where the endometrium invades the muscular layer of the uterine walls causing a lot of pain and complications on top of everything else.
I am at the stage now where 1 year after surgery to remove adhesions and cysts the pain, abnormalities and symptoms have returned.
I had a big scare this week where a cyst rupture caused me to be hospitalised and further investigation is needed.
I have decided after discussion with my doctor that I would like to opt for a hysterectomy.
This decisions has not come lightly, I am devastated and I feel defeated, but I know this is the right thing to do.
Now, being an apprentice I am still getting on my feet financially, if I don't work I don't get paid and the bills don't stop unfortunately.
I am asking for help raising money for my medical bills so I can reduce my symptoms and continue my dream of living in Queensland and becoming a tattoo artist.
Or.... you can always come and get a tattoo which also helps me cover medical expenses when I'm not bed ridden.
Thank you so much to everyone who has already supported me.
Your kindness and love means the world to me
