Not Just Code — Community, Careers, and Change

Help launch something meaningful.
Hi, I’m building a modern web development training program for underserved communities — and I need your help to bring it to life.
This program is designed to bridge the opportunity gap in tech, especially for people who’ve been historically left out of the industry. It’s hands-on, project-based, and focused on giving students the tools they need to get hired — not just to pass a test.
I’ve taught this kind of curriculum before, and I’ve seen firsthand how it can transform lives. Now, I’m developing a new version, focused around three major phases:
Fundamentals
Students build a strong foundation in logic, problem-solving, and essential programming skills.
Python
We use Flask to teach full-stack web development, working with APIs, databases, and modern backend techniques.
.NET (C#)
Students level up with an enterprise-grade tech stack — the same one used by ACE, a Salesforce affiliate that partnered with a previous version of the program I helped lead.
I’ve submitted a proposal for long-term funding through an amazing nonprofit partner. But like a lot of important things, it’s caught in a holding pattern. Meanwhile, I’m broke — and every day I wait is a day I could be building.
I’ve set a goal of $4,000 to cover basic expenses over the next couple months so I can focus on this work full-time:
- Rent, bills, and groceries
- Time to design and document the curriculum
- Tools and resources to help students succeed
- Space to mentor new developers, even before the official launch
Why it matters
Studies show that more diverse workforces are more productive, more creative, and better at solving problems. Supporting this project means you’re investing not just in me — but in a future where tech belongs to everyone.
If you’ve ever learned from me, worked with me, or just believe in this mission, please consider donating or sharing this page. Every dollar helps.
Thank you. Truly.
