MY STORY:
My name is Airyell. I am an Army Veteran and former first responder. Like many who have served, I live with the invisible wounds of PTSD. The battles I face now are different than those I once trained for—but they are just as real.
There have been times when my mental health nearly cost me my life. A part of healing is accepting help. Through these dark moments, one constant source of comfort and hope has been animal therapy. Last year I welcomed a new pup to the home. Even without formal service training, Pagan has shown an incredible natural ability to ground me—reminding me to stay present when my mind wants to pull me elsewhere.

Why This Training Matters
Pagan has already mastered obedience school, but with professional service dog training, he could do so much more. This training would teach him to recognize when I’m struggling, provide interventions at the right time, and help me function more independently in everyday life.
Having Pagan by my side as a fully trained service dog means more than comfort—it means safety, stability, and a chance to truly live again.
⸻
The Challenge
Unfortunately, service dog training is extensive and costly, often reaching $10,000–$25,000. While the VA covers certain aspects of care, they do not cover training. This is where I am humbly asking for your support.
Funds raised will go directly toward Pagan’s training program, his working equipment, and ongoing reinforcement to ensure he can provide the life-saving interventions I need.

How You Can Help
By donating, you are helping give a veteran a lifeline. Your support will allow Pagan to step fully into his role as my partner and protector, helping me navigate a world that often feels overwhelming.
If you’re not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as powerful—it helps spread awareness and brings me closer to this goal.
Thank you for standing beside me on this journey. With your help, Pagan will not just be my dog—he will be my lifesaver.
