Jerk Shop Go: Not a Goodbye—See you Later!

Dear Springfield Community,

It is with great regret that I inform you that we will be closing our doors as of June 23rd, effective immediately.

Unfortunately, the building we occupy is no longer suitable for operating a restaurant, and the property owner has declined to make necessary repairs while we are still tenants. As a result, we have mutually agreed to part ways.

We had originally planned to remain in the space through the end of our lease, but the recent heat wave has made it simply unsafe and inhumane for our staff to work in conditions that are not habitable.

Please note that any business that replaces us has no affiliation with Jerk Shop Go or our family.

Leaving Springfield is bittersweet. We have truly grown to appreciate this city, and we are incredibly thankful for all of our loyal customers and dedicated staff who have supported us up to this point. While I’m saddened by the abrupt nature of our closing, I’m also grateful—my father can now fully enjoy his retirement, and I can turn my focus toward my second year of law school.
