Nostalgia Black Mobile App

Donation protected
In 2019 while operating my Black cultural tours, Soul of DFW, I had an idea to create a mobile app to bring Black cultural history to life. One year later the pandemic hit and I revisited the app concept as not only an added layer to increase tourism, but also a chance to open a path to better aid students as an educational tool. Thus, I made the decision to refocus and create a new company, Nostalgia Black (NB). Our Black woman owned and all female led team focuses on research of Black cultural history and bringing voice to the stories that have been largely untold via technology using both mixed and augmented reality. We secured a successful gaming and app design firm with success in both history and gaming - two markets we feel our project can fill.

Our first app experience will center on Texas Civil Rights leader, Ms. Juanita J. Craft. The app will feature Ms. Craft as a hologram effect come to life in front of you while you get a first-hand look at her home. Up until now the entire project has been completely funded out of pocket, but now we need your help completing this project in order to publish it ASAP! We are asking for $15,000 to pay balance owed to our developer, QuantumERA. We are also proud to have secured a group of advisors that have aided us from conception with research, engineering, accounting, history, and educational curriculum. After this is complete we will work towards actively seeking partnerships in order to fund additional mobile app experiences that have been pre-identified across the nation by my team. . Any amount is appreciated!

- Donations above $1000 will be branded on Nostalgia Black mobile app through EOY and acknowledged publicly at a launch party TBD.

Thank you for helping bring my vision to life! Xoxo Deah
