'No Signal' TU Dublin Graduate Short Film
Donation protected
Hi there! We are final year students studying Film & Broadcasting in TU Dublin, and we're raising funds for the budget of our graduate film, 'No Signal'.
'No Signal' is written and will be directed by Elizabeth Adewusi, and tells the story of loneliness in a near-future Ireland where everyday life and relationships are experienced through virtual reality technology. Temi, our protagonist, is an African girl starting a new job in the city, who resists VR and craves real connections. We follow Temi as she gives in to the pressure and ventures into the virtual world, only to find a connection where she least expects it.
Temi's story is grounded in the experiences of loneliness and technology that people all around the world can relate to. 'No Signal' is scheduled to go into production in late March/early April. The film will then be showcased later in the year at our grad show in the Lighthouse Cinema, and will be submitted to film festivals across Ireland and Europe. It is our hope that we can use everything we have learned at TU Dublin to produce this film to a high standard, and we will be so grateful for any help in doing so.
All donations will go towards our budget, helping us with production design, costumes, hair and make-up, locations, travel, and other general production costs. All contributors will be included in the film credits. For any further information please contact our team here on GoFundMe, and we will be happy to address any questions or concerns.
