Our friend and neighbor, Genevieve Wimsatt, had her wheelchair stolen from her front porch. She was robbed not just of a possession, but her “legs”.  It is hard to comprehend how anyone could take such a vital piece of equipment from a fellow human being. Let’s rally and show Genevieve that we’ve got her back by raising funds for a new pair of legs. Let’s raise $7000 for new wheels including the smart drive feature she had on her chair. Anything we raise in excess will go toward helping Genevieve offset costs she’s incurred related to the theft, and maybe we’ll exceed our goals and raise enough for an accessible van or other conveniences to help her out.

Genevieve will be the sole recipient of funds raised and she is aware of this campaign.
