Who are We?

We are a passionate group of community members who want to bring more public Montessori education to the Northern Nevada area. Our goal is to establish Northern Nevada Wildflower Montessori, a proposed public charter school that will serve children in grades Pre-K3 through 6th grade in the Reno/Sparks area.

Our mission is to integrate rigorous academic standards, emotional intelligence, resource management principles, and the Montessori method in a child-centered learning environment. We aim to serve children and families from all backgrounds, fostering an inclusive space where children can grow, learn, and thrive.

As a teacher- and community-led initiative, we are committed to creating a learning environment that empowers children, educators, and families alike. We want to build a place where curiosity is celebrated, emotional well-being is nurtured, and academic excellence is achieved.
