This is my first time doing a fundraiser, but because of the recent earthquake in my hometown of Cebu... My family and I will be helping whoever we can with what we are able to give. I would like to ask everyone, that are able, to also lend a hand and help those who are in need right now.
Yes, there are plenty of fundraisers going around right now and a lot within Cebu and other regions in the Philippines. But for us living overseas, I'd like for us to lend a helping hand to the affected Cebuanos in the Northern parts of the province by raising a relief fund together.
Please help me make this happen.
Please help answer the prayers of the Northern Cebuanos that were affected by this devastating disaster.
The funds raised will be focused on assisting the local Cebuanos at the epicenter of the earthquake, Bogo City, and its neighboring cities: Medellin, San Remigio, Tabogon, Tabuelan, Tuburan, Borbon, Daanbantayan, and Bantayan Island.
My family and I will make sure that all of the funds will be converted correctly into pesos. The pesos will then be used to buy emergency goods and resources.
Some of the essential goods and resources we plan to get with the funds:
- Clean Water & Purified Water
- Rice & Ready to Eat Meals
- Gas (if accessible)
- Emergency Shelter and Bedding
- Hygiene Kits
- Medical Supplies
The items will vary depending on how much is raised and we will prioritize the important essentials: drinking water, food, and hygiene/medical supplies.
Some of my family and volunteers will organize teams to send all the goods and resources up North.
We plan to do it on our own accord and means of transportation and access without going through any political establishments to ensure nothing will be compromised.
Of course, we will have to follow any Barangay or City protocols as they may have adjusted to the recent circumstances.
I ensure that your donations will go from you to the Cebuanos affected directly.
Anything helps. If able, please do give.
May God and Mother Nature give blessings to those who give theirs.
Thank you for your time, and I hope this reaches you with peace and safety.
Amping.
