LNU Lightning Complex Fires
Donation protected
Four days ago, I was evacuated from my St. Helena home as were hundreds of others. My home is still standing, but others have been burnt to the ground, adding to the desperation which COVID has already ravaged on our communities. My family and I are working in shelters, feeding first responders but the need is overwhelming. If you can pitch in at whatever level you feel comfortable, we would deeply appreciate all donations. The fire is not out of our woods yet nor are we, but kindness is emerging full in force. I know we can beat back all of our challenges if we just do it together.
In response to the LNU Lightning Complex fires, which have displaced thousands of Napa County residents thus far, Napa Valley Community Foundation (NVCF) has established a special Fund to provide relief and recovery services to those affected by this most recent natural disaster in Napa Valley. The Foundation has committed an initial and immediate $100,000 to the 2020 Napa County Wildfire Fund.
