This is the official fundraiser to help Northern Alliance Paintball upgrade our legendary centercourt for our 10th Anniversary.
As you all know, we have been using a parachute system to cover the eating/party-area for the last several years. The eating area has always been part of the core of the Camp Loki experience. But the parachutes we've used are a bit flimsy, not (completely) waterproof and fragile/risky with high winds. For the 10th anniversary of the Northern Alliance, we want to try to upgrade Camp Loki's legendary centercourt to the next level. We have been in contact with many suppliers in Europe and Asia for a large bedouin tent (see pictures) and have identified a cost effective option from a European supplier. In the next few weeks, we will have a fundraiser to raise money to secure a Black canvas, double-coated 10M x 12/15M version, enough to fit all our vikings and guests (Eventually we may be able to get it branded NA on top, but we want to keep things affordable). It will cost ~4.5K with poles and taxes. Any and all donations to support this upgrade would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone who helps is a Loki Builder.
- If you donate above €30, you will receive an official Camp Loki Builder patch (final design above), sketched by Doug. The design features a Viking long house and the Norse god of craftsmen, Reginn, with a runic R on his chest and tools. These patches will be available also to NON NA members who donate to us because they love our Schnapps and beards and throwing glowsticks at us. It's a unique chance to get your hands on a 1 time only produced piece of history. The patches will be for pickup at EBG2021 Camp Loki. Don't forget to leave your name on the donation!
- If you donate above €100, or if you have donated your player pack, you will receive the unique Camp Loki Builder patch & and one of our signature specially crafted beers by Jon Broer.
- You feeling like a high roller? If you donate above €300, I will make one reservation for you at our once in a lifetime "Loki High Roller Restaurant". Our star chef Jon will serve a meal for you on Friday night. We will set up a table for 4 "high rollers" who can get their food porn fix, while they can look down own all the plebs, sipping champagne.
This tent can also be rented out during the year (depending on location, tent storage is Netherlands) and those funds would go directly into the NA pot. If you are a donator, your donated amount would be withdrawn from the rental fee's in the future. We already have a confirmed party interested in renting it for next year if we do purchase it!
If we do not reach the goal, we will poll multiple opportunities to reallocate the donation into other endeavors with our donators.
I'd like to thank the people who donated their player pack for 2020 to this cause, already funding €1395 which is deducted from the main goal of €4500:
