Hi there, my name is Nieves. Some of you know me well, others maybe not at all—but today, I’m reaching out with something close to my heart.

On August 10th, I’ll be taking on the London Olympic Triathlon, and I’m dedicating this race to the villages in northwest Limassol that were devastated by the recent wildfires. Homes, livelihoods, and entire landscapes were lost in a matter of hours. What took generations to build was reduced to ashes, which means that these communities need our help to rebuild—not just their homes, but their hope.
