North Vietnamese Soldiers Diary
Donation protected
My name is Peter Mathews, I served in Vietnam with the U.S. 1st Cavalry.
During the Battle of DakTo on Hill 724, November 1967, I found a soldier's 93 page diary containing many drawings and beautiful writings.

My ultimate goal is to go to Vietnam and present the diary to his relatives.
These funds will cover:
- Translation of all 93 pages and a published version of the diary.
- Travel expenses to Vietnam from New York
If the family cannot be contacted, I will donate the diary to Ho Chi Minh War Museum in Vietnam. Should I collect more funds than necessary, I will make contributions to various Veterans' Organizations.
Thank you for your help. Returning this diary can bring closure to the soldier's family, as well as my own journey.
