Hi. My name is Ambar Egan, mom of Alex Egan, a member of the Robotics Club at North Gwinnett High School. I'm trying to help TEAM 1771 get to the World Championship on April 23rd, 2022. These students have worked non-stop nights and weekends for months to build an amazing robot. Their ingenuity and persistence have been nothing but phenomenal.
TEAM 1771 PARENTS: THERE ARE STILL COMPETITION DUES FOR WORLD. THIS WOULD BE AN ADDITIONAL DONATION.
So much so that today TEAM 1771 is:
- 1st in the WORLD for a robot in autonomous mode (robot operating independently 100% - No Driver!)
- 2nd in the WORLD for Cargo Ranking Points
- 5th in the WORLD Overall
- Georgia State Champion
However, with all this success, noone was prepared for the expense of getting the entire group of 25 students plus mentors to the World Championship in Houston, Texas in just 10 days! These students have been going door to door to businesses in the area and many have generously sponsored them. But they still need to rent two charter buses, pay for two drivers, and have money for food. I'm here to ask for your donations in any amount to make their dream come true. No donation is too small.
Check out the TEAM WEBSITE
Also, here's the final match when the team won the State Championship. THEIR ROBOT - 1771 - was the CAPTAIN of the RED ALLIANCE. Look for the GREEN LIGHT and SHOOTING NON-STOP.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION!
