Hi, my name is Oonagh. I’m an activist based here in Ireland. I have been in contact with Mohammed and his 12 year old daughter, Aisha for several months now. They are currently in a refugee camp in North Gaza, having been displaced and lost all of their family, including Mohammed’s wife, Aisha’s mother through this horrific genocide.

Mohammed is a Community Worker. He spends his time, through hunger and grief, helping to settle the newly arrived refugees by trying to attend to their basic needs and setting up new tents. This is all done under the constant fear of death, never ending noise of drones, immense heat, hunger and thirst. And of course the relentless conveyer belt of death.

A few days ago, Mohammed let me know that his only remaining relative, his 12 year old daughter Aisha, had broken her hand. He tried to find a public hospital that could provide medical care but, as Israel has destroyed all of these facilities, none was found. So he resorted to having to borrow from many sources to pay for care in one of the few private clinics remaining in Gaza.

I would like to help raise as much money as we can to go towards paying of Mohammed’s debt, 750$, but also to give as much as we can to aid his community during this horror.

Please remember, the population of Gaza has been deprived of every basic necessity for life for almost one year now. They have also had to endure a 24 hour 7days a week violent treatment, deprivation, bombardment.
