North Broward Education Rocks

North Broward Prep has 65 members in our Education Rocks club this year! Education Rocks is a non-profit organization that pairs U.S. students with kids in developing nations to cover the cost of their education- it’s kids helping kids. Once sponsors are paired with a child, they form a relationship and bond throughout the year, by writing letters and sending gifts back and forth. This connection is formed when the students share with each other what their daily lives are like and when sponsors inspire their child from halfway around the world. In addition to writing letters, the US sponsor promises to raise $365 to send their student to school. The students’ education is funded ensuring that the cycle of generational poverty and vulnerability is broken. The U.S. sponsor learns life, business, and relationship skills expanding their compassion, empathy and understanding of the world on a global level. We are so close to reaching our school goal and kindly ask for your help. We are so grateful for any donation and any contribution we receive helps and bring us closer to reaching our goal!
