Hi, my name is Ron.

I along with my wife and 4 children were hit with an unimaginable tragedy this past week.

Water rose to an unprecedented level here and flooded the basement. We had 4 feet of water down there, and our hydro was cut (safety).

My daughters had bedrooms in the basement and they lost everything. Our laundry room was down there as well, the washing machine and dryer both garbage now. Our furnace and hot water tank also got ruined because of this.

We are a single income family, our insurance has stated that they will only cover $10,000. Just the items mentioned above will total that amount, leaving us with nothing to repair the basement and replace beds and clothing for my daughters.

Anything you can spare during our time of need would be very appreciated.

The amount of support we've received in such a short time has been amazing. We are so appreciative of each and every one of you.

Update 2:

Basement has been emptied. We bought a generator and had fans going down there to dry it up.

Electrician came by yesterday to check the outlets and wires. Power was hooked back up after his visit. Morale for us has gotten a lot better since then.
